(This sign requires motorcycles wishing to turn left to go straight first with a green light and then turn left when the appropriate light is green. Even though a motorcycle is the only vehicle shown in the sign, by legal definition this sign also applies to non-motorized vehicles, including bicycles. This sign is used where direct left turns by motorcyclists and bicyclists are considered too dangerous. Since 1 November 2007, this sign ceases to apply to motorcycles of at least 550 cm^3. Since 1 July 2012, this sign ceases to apply to motorcycles of more than 250 cm^3.)
